Cardio Kick Fit Program

We are proud to now offer a kick fit program. 

This program borrows moves from Taekwon-Do, Thai kickboxing and many other martial arts styles.  Kicking and boxing techniques are choreographed into step and dance routines to provide an exciting, energizing and thorougher total body workout, all designed to make you sweat.

When you punch with precision, using the proper technique, you strengthen your upper body, you develop better muscle definition and better coordination.  Kicking strenghtens your legs and hips, developing both the quadracept and hamstring muscles.  Preparing to kick, the chamber, helps strengthen the abdominal muscles.  The fact remains, when done correctly, all these moves will give you a solid core, help firm muscles, burn calories and sculpt you into a leaner, more defined and limber body.

An added benefit is cardiovascular fitness.  As your body works, your heart, lungs and circulatory system develop into a more efficient unit to help the body adapt to this program.  This workout will have you jumping, turning, bobbing and weaving with punches and kicks to elevate your heart rate, providing a complete aerobic workout.  You will leave class energized, knowing you are doing something good for yourself.

This is also a great way to reduce stress, whether you imagine an adversary or truely see your foe, kicking and punching this image will give you a certain tranquility, relieving frustrations and a good avenue to vent your pent-up aggression.  Let's face it, not every day is great, uplifting and fulfilling, what better way to change the outcome than to beat it into submission?

Our instructors will encourage you to greater heights, no drill sergeants!  They do what you do, they sweat right along with you, no coasters, no posers!  Each move will be demonstrated and explained before you do it, from warm-ups to cool down stretches. We are there to inspire and motivate you, not hound you.  If you are new to class, there is not an expectation that you will be able to perform as well as the "regulars", we all progress at our own pace; do what you can and leave the rest as a future goal.  Your experience will be fun, uplifting and leave you energized, ready to take on the day ahead, or put it to bed!

Remember, this is fitness training, you are not training to fight.

No matter what your fitness level, overweight or simply looking to sculpt your body, these workouts are designed to help you.  Write down your goal, read it every day, carry it with you.  Each time you workout, remember your personal goal and gauge how well you are moving towards reaching that goal.
